Thanks for opinion. As the founder of the company I already met the version about Paul Piesker.
However, there is an opinion that it not the producer, and the company which was engaged in import of photoequipment to the USA.
It is difficult to present that in the destroyed city through such short time without participation of military authorities restored production. And it is already absolutely improbable, this creation of the new.
I will be very grateful for any additional information.

There were at least two other Berlin-based optics companies after the war - Astro Berlin, TEWE... - which managed to resume the production, so it seems it was not that improbable, at least in the 3 West sectors.
As a small manufacturer, probably just a larger tooling workshop with a design bureau attached, they could be sourcing their glass lenses ans elements from larger manufacturers (even from Soviet occupied territory) and simply put them together in their own lens barrels. The Piesker designs weren't that complicated either - mainly triplets and later some 4-lens-designs.

1922 wurde Astro als GmbH von Bielicke, Gramatzki und Otto in Berlin-Wilmersdorf, Saalfelderstraße 10 gegründet.
Ab 1928 war der Firmensitz in Berlin-Neukölln, Lahnstraße 30.
Das Fertigungsprogramm beinhaltete anfangs astronomische Optiken, wurde dann aber bald um die Fertigung lichtstarker Objektive, hauptsächlich zur Kinematographie, erweitert. Bekannt wurde Astro besonders durch seine extrem lichtstarken und langbrennweitigen Objektive.
Astro fertigte Objektive für Schmalfilm-, Normalfilm-Kinematographie, Projektion, Photographie, Luftbildphotographie, sowie Objektive, die im Druckgewerbe und zu wissenschaftliche Zwecke eingesetzt wurden.
