Haemanthus albiflos
A7r3, Sigma Apo Macro 180mm f5.6 at f16. FOV approx. 80mm wide, hand held.
I read a rave review about this lens so I bought it. It is a much longer FL than I like for macro but this plant was growing in a jumble of other plants. It qualifies as a succulent and has recurved, strap-like leaves. This is the first time I have used it. A keeper!
I normally shoot only RAW images but the camera was recently back from repair and I was unaware that the factory default format is JPEG. It stood up well to my usual processing. I don't usually shoot smaller than f11.
