I am sceptical to wide Zooms, hence never tried one. but of the various wides I have, i Mainly use the Minolta/Leitz 16mm fisheye, the recent Zeiss 18mm and occcasionally the Flektogon 20/2,8, mainly a function of what is in one of my pockets at the time.

I have zero interest in out of focus elements nor in closeups and use f5,6 or f8. The Rectfish program form Akapixus.dk helps to staighten fishy curves. Before I got rid of Canon autofocus stuff I used their fisheye which was surprisingly good and not as unsettling plasticky as their other creations. Too much trial and errror -work to shrink any snaps to show here. Maybe if I find a small version ....
