Oak Bush-cricket
My wife called me to examine an insect upside down on our bedroom ceiling this morning. I could see it was a bush-cricket but it looked rather pale, clearly a female.
My camera is working only in Manual Mode so, fiddly to get the exposure right.
When I tried to get far enough back to include the entire length of her antennae, she dived under the leaves. We have an oak tree, less than 50m away.
Olympus EM-1 (manual mode), Olympus 4/3 50mm f2 macro, f11, handheld.
