I like the last picture better than the one with the red car before because the 3D effect is better.

I agree. At such an event I prioritise people not moving over optimum angles of view.

The flower is about the size of my thumb.

Olympus EM-1, El-Nikkor 1-4 50mm at f11, on free-lensing on approx. 45mm extension, FOV approx. 45mm wide. Hand held.

This is my first use of the lens and my first at free-lensing (by necessity). The lens was on an adapter (M42 to 4/3) which was attached only to the lens.

I had hoped to photograph larger fruits on the bush but pointing the lens towards even the tiniest chink of light produced horrific flare. I didn't have a hood to hand but I doubt it would have helped much. So I picked a specimen and put it on some cut wood.


Olympus EM-1, 40mm extension, Minolta E Rokkor 75mm f4.5 at f11. FOV 80mm wide, WD 350mm. Hand held.


This is the first time I used this lens.
