A7r3, RE: Topcor 100mm at f8. ISO 200. Minimum focus distance. (I have ordered some extension tibes).

My first try with this lens which arrived today.

Harsh light but a slight change of viewpoint gave some improvement. Highlights moderated.

Excellent lens and nice results. I'm always negatively surprised how little the Sony sensor can differentiate hues of the same colour, especially red and blue, which sadly muddies the pink blossom a little, at least on my older monitor.

Yes it has big trouble with violets (Viola sp.), losing the blue element.

Olympus EM-1, approx. 100mm extension, Printing Nikkor 105mm at f11, hand held.

This is one of the larger Capanula flowers, such that even f11 doesn't have the DOF, but the stigma is the star anyway. Cropped a bit.
