Merkwürding, die Seite fordert einen ja geradezu auf, Kontakt aufzunehmen. Allerdings ist das letze Update schon eine Weile her. Vielleicht mal beim Museum anfragen, ob man dort etwas weiss.

in 1923 mr. Bogopolsky designed the cinegraph BOL which was intended both to record and project 35mm cinefilm.
i presume the lens is calculated for cineframe use, not for larger formats.
The Kern/ Paillard connection remained throughout the years. The only early Kern 8mm lens I have is labelled Genevar presumably after the city where the early Bol compny ws based. Not a perticularly common object, like the 35mm macro-Switars and their f: 0,9 creations.
I assume other Kern creations are similarly stored away by collectors since that company was eaten by Wild/Heerbrugg long ago.
