My experience with Canon 5ii and some of the lenses in the list is different.

Pancolar 80\1,8 m 42: with no-name adapter; no problem, no modifications needed to reach infinity setting.
Contax MM 28\2,8: ------"---------

The mirror might perhaps be shorter on the 5ii, or sample variations may play a role.

Changing adapters to thicker ones than standard in order to clear the mirror is not a proper solution. Only one specific thickness gives the correct infinity setting. Thicker adapters make infinity impossible. Thinner adapters will move the infinity point to a "closer setting" on the scale.

Für mich so nicht nachvollziehbar, ich hatte das Pancolar 80 mm sowohl an 5D als auch 5DII. Die Rücklinsenfassung stand dem Spiegel deutlich im Weg - Objektiv am Adapter kam auf Unendlich und nicht darüber hinaus.

Was das aber nun mit dem Contax 1:1.4/85er zu tun haben soll, ist mir ebenfalls ein Rätsel.

Einig, kein verbindung mit Zeiss, aber ich habe gedacht das solches info sei nützlich für diejenige das der referenz ohnehin als totales wahrheit betrachtet.

Naheinstellung 1 m, f/2,8, freihand

Leider vergessen, den Stabi (IBIS) an der Sony auf die richtige Brennweite zu stellen. Daher nicht perfekt scharf.

Ich hatte auch jahrelang mit dem Planar 1.4/85mm gearbeitet, mich dann aber zu Gunsten des Minolta AF 85mm F1.4 G RS wieder davon getrennt.
