as far as I know these you will have to keep at least one tubus with the lenses.
There isn't an optical block as in normal objectives, I think.
As Christiabn wrote, you can adapt them very well and easily get an focussing helicoid for them.

Generally you can get very good items for adapting projection lenses from RAF-camera (sold via EBAY).

I used the RAF-items, too, but must say that the material of his clamps ist very thin and I don't trust them too much, especially in the heavyier projection lenses as the Iscos or Schneider Kreuznachs.
The screws holding the objective are placed in about 1mm aluminium alloy only.
He isn't willing to use thicker metal, so I changed to a chinese producer who is more cooperative.
