"Altes Suppenhuhn" ... von wegen!
Für die Top-Ergebnisse habe ich ja meine Leicas und Nikkore. Das Tokina ist einfach die bequeme Linse wenn man mal keine Lust hat auf ständigen Wechsel oder kilometerweites Laufen. ;)
Außerdem, ganz im Ernst, die Ergebnisse sind keinesfalls so schlecht, wie man vielleicht erwarten würde!
Wenn ich mal etwas Zeit finde (mache im Moment sehr viele Überstunden), lade ich mal ein paar Bilder hoch, die ich damit am Tag der offenen Tür unserer Schule gemacht habe.

Schön, dass es noch mehr Leute mit Superzoom Bedarf gibt, ich komme mir sonst mit meinem Tamron 18-270mm wie ein Exote vor. :D

Das ist schon recht praktisch für den Urlaub oder Radtouren. Ich überleg auch gerade, ob ein 18-200 seinen Weg zu mir finden soll...

Genau. Das wäre mir nichts für immer, aber manchmal ist es toll.
Übrigens mein Vater fotografiert nur noch mit zwei Objektiven: einem 18-200 und einem 50er Makro. Und er ist sehr glücklich damit. :bananajoe

Ist immer so ein Problem. Liebäugele im Moment mit dem Canon EF-S 55-250mm 1:4-5.6 IS rum.

Das ist kein klassisches Superzoom Objektiv, eher als Erweiterung zum Kit-Objektiv 18-55mm gedacht.
Ein Superzoom ist ein Objektiv, welches Weitwinkel bis Tele abdeckt. z.B. das Canon 18-200mm.

Stimmt. Und dennoch kann dieses 55-250 IS sehr gute in die Kamerasammlung passen. ;)

Wer sich für das Objektiv interessiert, aber die 200mm am langen Ende nicht braucht, der kann sich auch ruhig das Tamron 24-135mm und das Sigma 24-135mm anschauen. Die Verarbeitungsqualität ist bei beiden im Vergleich zum Tokina nicht ganz so gut, gerade wegen den Abbildungsleistungen lohnt sich aber der Blick auf die beiden. Echte Superzooms sind sie zwar nicht, aber mit 135mm kommt man auch schon recht weit. :)

Stimmt. Gute Tipps! Danach habe ich auch eine Weile gesucht, doch die waren noch sehr teuer, wenn man überhaupt welche gefunden hat.

Habe an meiner EOS 50D das 18-200mm von Canon.
Soweit ich das beurteilen kann ist das schon eine feine Linse die den "üblichen" Brennweitenberich gut abdeckt.
Bei 18mm werden aber aus geraden Linien gebogene Linien.

ich möchte ebenfalls beitragen, die allgemeine Ablehnung von Suppenzooms zu relativieren. Ich habe das Tokina AT-X 24-200 AF in der Pentax Version und bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Teil. Im Zusammenspiel mit einer K10D und dem eingebauten Stabi ist es eine Optik, die vieles möglich macht, ohne natürlich irgendwo Spitzenleistung zu bringen. Die Haptik ist klasse, der Autofokus ok, das Gewicht könnte weniger sein.
Zu den optischen Qualitäten einige Beispiele (alle Bilder out of cam nur verkleinert):

Die CA sind deutlich, die Schärfe finde ich noch ok.
Im Weitwinkelbereich hat das Objektiv nicht seine Stärke, da sollte man von den möglichen f=1:3.5 deutlich 2 Blenden abblenden.

Aber in der Bildschirmansicht bei 1920x1024 Bildpunkten ist an so einer Aufnahme bei Blende 8 nichts auszusetzen. Ich denke Ausbelichtungen mit 13x18cm kann man damit locker machen.
Die Stärke des Objektivs liegt in der Variabilität, weil es auch am einer APS-C Kamera noch etwas (an der Pentax ~ 36mm) Weitwinkel gibt.

Also, wenn man mit kleinem Besteck auf Wanderschaft gehen will, ist dieses Objektiv auf der K10D eine vernünftige Wahl und ermöglicht ordentliche Bilder.
Für denjenigen, der sich sowieso nie hochwertige Objektive anschafft, ist das Tokina eine überlegenswerte Alternative zu anderen Low-Cost-Zooms, in der Verabeitung ist es deutlich überlegen.

P.S: Das Objektiv funktioniert auch per P/K-Adapter als manuelles Objektiv an einer Canon EOS 50D :-)
