This a persistent "cat burglar". He is a tom who gets into our house whenever he can to eat our cat's food. He is sunning himself alongside some figurines on a windowsill.

I was doubtful about the "Golden" when I bought it, and was proved right. Anyway, an Aporocactus hybrid, related to Cleistocactus . The tubular flowers are typical, the one on the right is almost "over". Flower length about 45mm.
Sony A7r3, Laowa Magic Shift Converter, Laowa D-Dreamer 12mm f2.8 at f11 and closet focus, hand held. This combination was immediately available, rather than chosen for this subject.
At the moment, my varifocal spectacle lenses are about to be replaced because I can't focus screen detail sharply. So I hope these are OK.

Ollie was the last in a long line of cats over the 50+ years of our marriage. He was 18 years old and had incurable health problems. So we said goodbye to him yesterday, sad but expected.
These images were from the Olympus EP-2 in 2011. It was a lens at 70mm, f18, but I know no more.
