These are the fruiting bodies of a fungus feeding on a dead caterpillar below the surface of the ground.

These were in an area of infrequently cut grass. The clubs were about 50mm long.

this is an amazing lens. I think they're still among the best performing macro lenses in their class, even compared with today's standards.
I have two 95mm printing Nikkors. One vintage lens, with aperture, and a newer one, made by Nikon Rayfact, with fixed aperture.
This are really gorgeous lenses.

Unfortunately, people who think they are experts say such lenses are no better than other good macro lenses at smaller that maximum aperture. Utter nonsense.Zitat:
