Ich habe gute erfahrungen mit mein ISCO Ultrastar HD-plus 185 MC2,1 aber ziehe vor ein Helicoid focus einrichtung. in English, Hence I need to pisk out the optical block, from its mount. Does anyone have any tips on how to do this? The unbrako screws in front look tempting , but i need the entire block, not just a destroyed front part.

Generally you can get very good items for adapting projection lenses from RAF-camera (sold via EBAY).

as far as I know these you will have to keep at least one tubus with the lenses.
There isn't an optical block as in normal objectives, I think.
As Christiabn wrote, you can adapt them very well and easily get an focussing helicoid for them.
I used the RAF-items, too, but must say that the material of his clamps ist very thin and I don't trust them too much, especially in the heavyier projection lenses as the Iscos or Schneider Kreuznachs.Zitat:

ich habe henrys samtfokus tubus und der ist gut, aber ISCO ultrastar hat viel zu viel metall rund um sein optikblock- I would like to pick out the glass and fit it in a more easily transportable helicoid since the optics use only about half of the space in the mount. (hence has a very good gegenlichtblende)
